I’ve never worked on two projects that had the same needs, and I believe that cost is a balance of 3 factors:
What are your project demands? Does your project require sound design, or just a simple voice over mix?
What is your timeline? Having an appropriate expectation for turnaround time helps keep your costs in line with your budget. I like to be involved as early in the process as possible and help inform your timeline. Quick turnarounds tend to drive costs up.
